Hey there! I’m Mandi — chicken mom, rural dreamer, and the founder of The Roost Next Door.

What started as a backyard hobby quickly turned into a full-on lifestyle filled with feathers, feed bags, and a whole lot of joy. I started this shop to bring a little charm and a whole lot of chicken love to folks who know the magic of rural living — whether you're collecting eggs or just dreaming about the coop life.

I live in a small town in Colorado with my family, 20 chickens, 5 cats, and two loyal Belgian Malinois pups. Our coop is full of personality — and yes, they all have names.

Why I Started This Shop

I wanted to create something that celebrates the humor, grit, and goodness of small-town life. Every tee, hat, and home good is designed with love — and maybe a little straw in my hair.
